Park Hotel Regina

I adored this hotel. The staff take such good care of it, and they’re as kind as can be. The pool was pure heaven, breakfast was great, and there’s excellent seating outside. The location is hard to beat, so I’m already hoping to visit again. I stayed in a street-side room, where you can hear the lively town. I didn’t have a Riverside room, though I’m sure that’s where you’d ideally want to be. Still, the street-side view was pretty fabulous too, so you can’t go wrong.

We stayed for three nights while attending a local wedding, and Roberto and the whole team made the family and me feel welcome. The hotel is in the heart of Bagni di Lucca, beside the central square, with good parking, a lovely pool, and bars and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast in the pretty gardens was great. I can highly recommend staying here.

I’ve been coming here for about 10 years, and it still feels perfect. Roberto and his team always go the extra mile to make each visit special. The renovated pool is beautifully done, surrounded by greenery and a lovely place to relax. The town has charming restaurants, useful grocery and clothing shops, and you can even swim in the river. Breakfast is a treat too, fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day. I couldn’t love this place more. It’s idyllic and truly a must-visit.

The rooms are clean and parking is nearby. Our room faced the road instead of the pool, but with the window shut I couldn’t hear the traffic. Since the town is so small, the location is very nice, and the heated pool is beautiful.
