The countryside feel was lovely, even with Florence nearby. We stayed a few nights and found the place warm, cozy, and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owner baked a cake for the three of us. They also let us use their bikes. I’d happily recommend staying here.

We had the whole house to ourselves, with air conditioning in both rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. There’s plenty of parking in the large area in front of the property, and they accept cards. The gardens are a lovely place to spend time away from pollution. The setting is amazing, though getting there without a car is difficult. The breakfast option wasn’t that great.

We found it a really relaxing retreat from Florence, with a friendly family running the place. A car is useful, since the bus stops are a long way away. The breakfast was €7 per person and came in generous portions, with cake, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juice, milk, tea, and coffee. There’s a full kitchen and fridge, too. They make their own wine and olive oil, though we couldn’t take any home because we were flying. One tip: don’t trust Waze here, it sent us along a terrible agricultural track. There are properly paved roads to the property.

We were four friends sharing a cozy room, and the mattresses were comfortable. We didn’t have time to explore much of the beautiful farm, but we did visit the cellar and taste the wine and olive oil.
