You'll need a car, and the steep road up can be quite a thrill. Once you arrive, though, there's a beautiful landscape and a calm, serene atmosphere to enjoy.

The owners are really nice, and the pool is lovely. The place is well equipped, right down to dish soap and olive oil. Florence city centre is about 15 minutes away by car.

We had a magnificent view of Florence from this peaceful spot. The person who welcomed us was very attentive and spoke French.
