This historic building has held on to its original atmosphere. The traditional food is excellent too. Amazing place.

A place that feels like it belongs to another time.

It’s no longer a restaurant, just a hotel, but we had a wonderful one-night stay. Francesca greeted us so warmly and is clearly passionate about running this family property, which has belonged to her family since 1880. The lovely 1920s lounge is still there. Our room was very clean, quiet, and peaceful, and breakfast was delicious. It doesn’t have modern amenities and comforts, but it’s full of history.

If you like places with history and personality, this one has plenty of soul. Francesca welcomes you like a friend and makes you feel at home. Our room was cozy and warm, spotless, and had a beautiful view of the bridge. Breakfast was excellent, especially Francesca’s homemade peach jam. We enjoyed our stay so much that I wish we could have stayed longer.
