Albergo Meublé La Corte

A nice place.

Nice rooms, good service, and convenient parking, all at a great price. Everything was excellent.

The location is the one real strong point. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hostess was delightful, though the breakfast was only mediocre and just acceptable. The hotel itself could be much better with more investment. The rooms were worse than the exterior, which looked recently renovated without much taste, care, or expense. The lights and air conditioning didn't work properly, the linens were poor quality, and there wasn't even a blanket, just an old, crumpled bedspread. We were cold at night. The furnishings looked like they'd been salvaged from a 1970s community facility. Even getting luggage to the rooms is awkward, as there's no walkway over the pavement to roll suitcases along. The reception is hard to look at too, and seems like it could be refreshed for the cost of one night at IKEA. I paid €78, which felt wasted for a three-star hotel that seemed worth two. I wouldn't call that affordable. The room price list says €40 to €80 in low season, so management should either adjust the rates or improve the furnishings to bring the rooms up to a three-star standard.

Clean and welcoming, and they were absolutely available to help.
