We stayed here on our 2008 anniversary trip and loved it. We wanted a bed and breakfast between Florence and Rome, and this was a great find. The room was probably the largest we had on our whole trip around Europe, and both it and the house were spotless and comfortable. There was a small parking area behind the house for our rental car. Breakfast was enormous, with more fresh bread and pastries than we could eat. Our hostess packed up the leftovers, and they kept us going for another two days. We also took her suggestion for dinner at the restaurant overlooking the Civita. The food was wonderful, the house wine exquisite, and the views breathtaking. She even walked us there through the winding town streets so we wouldn't get lost. We had trouble with the language since she spoke little English, but our English-Italian dictionary and a lot of pointing and signing got us by. Getting there would have been difficult without a little help. The hotel where we stayed the night before called ahead to confirm our reservation and get directions, and we were glad they did. We met the hostess at the gelateria on the main street, and she led us to the house. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.
