Biagio was so welcoming and clearly cares about his guests. When an unexpected train strike left us stuck at the airport, he came to pick us up himself within 40 minutes, with a big smile. We were really grateful. At B&B La Balestra in Balestrate, breakfast each morning meant fresh croissants, great coffee, and savory options. The dining area has an unforgettable view of the sea and town. Since we were travelling with our one-year-old, having access to the kitchen to prepare food and warm milk was a big help, and the filtered water tap was a nice bonus for our family. Our room was spotless, with a spacious bathroom, fridge, and child-safe balcony. The B&B is a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 20-minute walk from a very nice beach, Spiaggia di Balestrate. We felt at home and will definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you, Biagio!

Biagio is a friendly, helpful host, and the fresh breakfast pastries were lovely. It's centrally located in the resort. Jumbo taxi (rentals) was very good and cheaper than the other taxis, especially for the airport.

Our apartment was comfortable and clean, just a 3-5 minute walk from the beach and town center. Breakfast was great, with different Sicilian pastries each day. The host helped with our needs and shared several tips on things to do and see along the coast. He can also help arrange a car rental or catamaran tour. We visited in July and had an amazing stay. If you're exploring the northern Sicilian coast around Palermo and would rather avoid the big city's crowded streets, this is a great place to stay. We'd definitely come back, 10/10 recommend!

Biagio is the cherry on top of an excellent property. He takes great care to make sure his guests have a wonderful stay. La Balestra in Balestrate is clean, welcoming, and charming. Breakfast is always plentiful and fresh, with options even for people with lactose intolerance. The property is in a lovely seaside village, easy to reach from the sea, and its convenient highway exit makes it simple to get to Sicily's sights. The best!
