Hotel San Giorgio Terme

We went with half board and were glad we did. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and made with KM0 products. The hotel itself is simple and exceptionally clean, and the quiet setting looks out over the beautiful Maronti beach and Sant Angelo, with a fantastic sunset every day. Of all the beaches where we stayed in Ischia, this was probably the best. The staff are what made the stay so special. We’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, from 3-star places to extra luxury, but the care we found here is hard to match. Giorgio, Daniele, Dino, and the rest of the team, including housekeeping, made us feel at home and treated us like guests rather than numbers. I can’t remember everyone’s name, but their hospitality was wonderful. The hotel is well connected by bus to other areas of the island, including Ischia, Casamicciola, Forio, and Laccameno. There’s also a boat taxi to reach S Angelo. My family and I spent a beautiful week here, and we look forward to returning when we visit the island again.

The room I was first given had only a small window and no balcony, even though I’d paid extra for a sea view. It wasn’t what I expected from a 4-star hotel. The issue was resolved, though, and I was offered an upgraded room. I appreciated that gesture. I’d also have liked it to be clearly stated that drinks aren’t included in half-board or full-board plans, as a little more transparency would prevent confusion. The hotel’s strongest point is its service. Everyone seemed genuinely committed to making guests feel comfortable and cared for. The reception team welcomed me and helped with transport and sightseeing tips, which was especially useful since I didn’t have a car. The bus station right in front of the hotel made it easy to travel to Ischia Port and catch boats to other destinations. The restaurant manager deserves a special mention for the attention to detail and the pleasant, welcoming dining atmosphere. Service at the bar was excellent too, and the lovely view made it a relaxing place to sit. Thanks to the bar manager for maintaining such high standards, and to Luigi for the delicious cocktails. The spa was another highlight, with a clean, peaceful thermal pool and a relaxing massage from skilled, friendly staff. The hotel is spotless and well maintained, and the sea view made the stay memorable. I’d recommend it for the service, cleanliness, and views.

The hotel may be 20 years old, but the rooms feel fresh and were among the cleanest I’ve stayed in. There’s a wide variety at breakfast, too. It’s a great choice if you want a proper beach holiday, since the hotel has its own section of a very clean beach close by. I’d definitely recommend it ❤️

America, the owner, made sure we were looked after and drove us wherever we wanted to go. The view was spectacular, and the rooms were really clean. Breakfast was a perfect buffet in the morning, and the nearby restaurant Casereccia has the best menu ever. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
