The man who showed us around was kind, polite, and helpful, but the stay itself was frustrating. We booked for peace and quiet, yet staff came each day to do laundry that wasn't even from the house, with two strangers moving around while we were trying to enjoy lunch outside. The sauna was off limits to guests according to the instructions, so we couldn't use it. The house was dirty when we arrived despite the high cleaning fee, and we had to wash the kitchen and dishes before using them. The fridge also barely cooled because its door seal was faulty. On our last morning, workmen arrived two hours before checkout and interrupted breakfast. I can't recommend it to families hoping for a quiet break.

The place is lovely, though the house needs renovation and feels run-down. We were told the owner had sold it and we were the final guests. Cleaning was very poor, with only the towels and bedspreads clean. I wouldn't suggest coming in summer because of the mosquitoes.

We paid €590 in advance for a five-day stay for eight family members, and had told them we were bringing children. On arrival, though, we were given a room with just one bathroom inside and another outside, even though there were four bedrooms and we expected two indoor bathrooms. It was January 19th, and after one freezing night we agreed to find somewhere else. We left the compensation amount up to the owner, possibly half the price, but received no refund. The building was in poor condition, and the owner was rude and unprofessional. He showed us around with a bottle of wine tucked under his arm. The whole experience felt deceptive. Avoid this place unless you're after something like a horror movie.

The amenities were all there, and the accommodation itself was very nice. But for a €200 final cleaning charge, I expected it to be cleaner. It was really dirty when we arrived.
