The owner made us feel welcome. He's a charming, talkative guy who knows the area well. The place itself is quiet and inviting out in the countryside, with a gated parking lot. The electric gate wasn't working when we arrived, so it had to be opened by hand. Our double bedroom was lovely, with antique-style decor, and the kitchen and entrance room is very spacious and used for breakfast. The bathroom is off the bedroom, so if you need to use it, other residents might be walking around the house. For the low price, it wasn't bad.

We were driving from Calabria when a few mishaps made us late for check-in, which is only from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We asked the owner to wait until 5:30 PM, but he was rude and unpleasant and wouldn't accommodate us. We lost the €50 we paid, which Mr. Sergio refused to refund, and had to book somewhere else. This has never happened to us before. Avoid the place like the plague.

The rooms and beds were comfortable, and the bed and breakfast is in a lovely natural area. Barbarano Romano makes a good base for excursions. Breakfast could be a bit more abundant. 😉

We had a peaceful chance to spend quality time surrounded by nature. The service was friendly, and breakfast was excellent. The location is handy, just a few kilometers from Terme dei Papi spa, Lake Vico, and Lake Bracciano.
