The owner's comments here say the restaurant is open to non-guests if you book, but that's not what happened. While walking Via Degli Dei, I called directly on Tuesday 29th Oct at 1pm to ask for a table for two that evening, and someone refused my request. I don't know how I'm supposed to prove I made the call.

The rooms were clean, though the mattress was a little worn. This family-run Albergo is lovely, and the restaurant is well worth a visit. We had delicious homemade pasta and radicchio from their own garden.

Dinner was a letdown. It was very expensive, the portions were small, and the food wasn't very good. I went in without high expectations or special needs, but I wouldn't recommend either the restaurant or the hotel. My room was close to the street, so the noise kept waking me through the night. The housekeeper also wasn't very welcoming and couldn't speak any English.

You can only eat here if you've booked a room.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the Funghi were fabulous. Great job!
