A car is essential if you stay here. In return, you get a peaceful escape from the chaotic world, with lovely countryside all around and a pool that's kept clean. The hosts are super kind and friendly, and la Signora Carla's cakes are delicious.
Breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. The bus to Fiesiole stops right outside, but look into how to get tickets before travelling. You can only buy them on the bus with an Italian mobile, and travelling without one can mean a hefty fine.

Borghetto di San Filippo has a rustic charm and a sense of history that make it a special B&B. Though centuries old, the building is in incredible shape, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. We found the room beautiful and welcoming, and the bathroom was spacious and immaculate. The price was genuinely affordable. The people who hosted and served us were kind and welcoming too. It's a stay with history, charm, and comfort, and I'd highly recommend it.
We had a great time at this B&B. It's a simple, rustic, homey place, so don't expect too much. The hosts' kindness, along with the peaceful atmosphere and the genuine simplicity, is what wins you over.
