I had no problems during my summer stay with a group of friends, but later I left a computer charger behind and asked Gianni to send it to me. He quoted 28 Euro for shipping, which already seemed high, especially since the charger cable cost over 100 €. More frustratingly, he couldn’t get it delivered after two tries. On the first package, the address copied onto it was only vaguely related to the one I’d provided in print, so it couldn’t be delivered. For the second attempt, he said the carrier had told him the package was undeliverable and couldn’t locate me. The address I gave was my workplace, with my name in large letters on the center of the glass front door, and more than 20 people work there for me. After that, Gianni stopped being helpful.

A nice spot for a quiet holiday.

The woods make a lovely backdrop, and the cicadas are there as you play cards and chat. It’s a great place to unwind, with very hospitable and helpful owners, Gianni and his mother. We stayed in the upper of the two buildings. The house is spacious, cool, and breezy, and every room has its own bathroom, which makes it a good choice for a group. I highly recommend it.

The woodland is for your own use, and it feels restorative and full of positive energy. This is a magical, almost fairytale place, and photos can’t really capture it. You have to visit. The farm has two buildings, and I stayed in the upper house along the dirt road. The owners’ cleanliness, friendliness, and Tuscan flair add to the experience. The mosquito nets and evening lighting could be better, but that won’t keep us from coming back.
