We stopped here on the Camino de los Abbots, and it was a huge disappointment. Neither the room nor the bathroom was clean, and dinner was terrible. Nobody told us there'd be a dancing party in the lounge, so we couldn't sleep. I wouldn't recommend it. The €120 half-board price wasn't worth even half that, and we got no receipt.
The truffle crostini were delicious, as were the truffle ravioli and tagliatelle with venison ragù. Prices felt almost too low for what we ate. The setting is very simple and service a bit slow, but it feels like home. The food is really good, and I'll definitely be back.
We stopped for lunch while visiting the village of Bardi and were warmly welcomed. The meal was delicious. I recommend this restaurant, and I'm sure you'll enjoy everything about it.
We came across this restaurant by chance while out with a friend in central Bardi (PR). The staff were friendly and helpful. We had two first courses, delicious pumpkin and truffle tortelli, plus a cured meat and torta fritta appetizer, house dessert, water, a carafe of wine, and two digestifs. It all came to a more than reasonable €36.00.
The owner was kind and helpful. My son accidentally left a very precious stuffed animal in the room, and since we live far away, we asked if it could be sent to us at our expense. The owner covered the cost and sent it herself. We’d definitely stay here again if we passed through.
