The setting is lovely, with hills around it and a night view over the town. The recently renovated rooms are spacious, the bathroom is huge, and the staff are welcoming. But I was shocked to find the pool steps broken, nearly cutting my leg, and the jacuzzi out of order. Maintenance needs attention. The restaurant was the biggest letdown. Dinner is a strict €45 set menu with one starter, first course, main and dessert, and the portions are small. I understand wanting to avoid food waste, but paying that much with no choice feels steep compared with the good, cheaper food nearby. There may be two or three desserts, but the popular ones can sell out, leaving just one option. I felt sorry for the waitress having to explain this to an angry customer. The wine list starts at around €40 a bottle, which also seemed out of place. Breakfast was better, and I liked the homemade yogurt, though the choice was limited to one fruit, kiwi, and a couple of cakes. I’d stay here for the location, but I’d avoid the restaurant and breakfast. The owners should put more care into the food and upkeep so this big investment doesn’t go to waste.

The grounds are spacious and lovely for children, with flowers and plants everywhere. Our room was clean and felt new, and the staff were very friendly. We also really enjoyed the food. We stayed in April 2025, so the pool wasn’t something we could enjoy then, but it sounds like a nice option in summer. We’d gladly come back. Mille Grazie

There are lovely walks, a nice pool, and some animals to see. The food is made with ingredients from the resort’s farm, which is part of what makes Peq agri resort special, and it was all very good. The wine was high quality too. The mountain setting is amazing, with nearby peaks higher than the UK’s highest mountain, as far as I know. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

We ate at the resort every night, which was handy since we didn’t have to go into town. The food and wine from the peq agri vineyard were lovely, and our kids especially enjoyed seeing the animals. Veronica and Alex were great hosts and wonderful with the children. The rest of the staff were friendly too. We stayed for seven days and didn’t want to leave. It’s a quiet spot by a nice river, about 10 minutes from the sea and up in the hills, so evenings are cool. We’ll definitely try to come back.

We only stayed one night, but loved the whole relaxing escape. The food, animals, service and nature were all wonderful. Can’t wait to return! ❤️
