The nonna hosting us was so warm, and the wines were excellent for the price.

It’s far enough from the lake to feel peaceful, but close enough to get around quickly on foot, by bike, or by car. The rooms are modern and very clean, and everyone is friendly.

The nonna was wonderful, and so was the wine!

The pool area has plenty of loungers and parasols, plus olive trees for shade, and there’s a hot tub for cooler days. You can buy the excellent wine and olive oil there, but it’s cash only. The accommodation was fantastic and high quality, and everything was very clean.

It’s about a 500 m walk to the village bars and restaurants, and the rest of the grounds are beautifully landscaped and well cared for. The apartments themselves are spacious and lovely. But the pool was cold since it isn’t heated, and it looked poorly maintained. The pool and whirlpool seemed not to have been looked after in a long time, with a 2 cm yellow line around the water level. We didn’t want to use either, worrying about germs and bacteria. What a shame, especially since we’re paying for them. Now we understand why nobody uses the pool or whirlpool.
