Our stay was badly let down by the front desk. The check-in time wasn't listed on the hotel's own website. Booking.com said until 22:00, while reception told us 23:00. We had warned the hotel that a delayed flight meant we'd arrive before 23:00, but when we got there they refused to check us in, saying they were closed. We had to pay for another hotel that night. Our night here had already been paid for, but the next morning they said we couldn't check in until 3 pm. It took several requests and insisting before they reluctantly let us in earlier. The front desk staff came across as incompetent and irresponsible, with complete disregard for guests. It really felt like we weren't welcome at all. To be fair, the rooms were good and suited the hotel's star rating, and the housekeeping and other service staff were fine. But the reception service ruined our impression of the stay.

The free bikes were handy and perfectly adequate for getting around, and you could also rent paddleboards. Breakfast was decent, but the team's hard work and friendly service made it very good. This is a charming little hotel that really tries. It's not a full spa, just a hot tub and sauna, which honestly aren't needed when it's over 30 degrees outside!

The only real downside was the busy road nearby, which got noisy at night. Otherwise, it was a cozy place with helpful, friendly staff. The rooms were a bit small but clean and up to date, and both the lake and city center are close.

The hotel is in a nice spot, and there’s parking right out front. Service was great, and breakfast was good too.
