Ca' Masawalsa

We stayed here recently and really liked the renovated rooms. They’ve all been redone since our stay a few years ago and look great. The hotel is close to the lake and in a superb spot for walks and time by the water, while still near enough to go out for a meal. Highly recommended.

I haven’t stayed here yet, but the service alone deserves five stars. They’re really helpful and service-minded, and the email communication was good. I’ll definitely stay here when I get the chance.

We had a wonderful vacation and I’d gladly return. It’s a small hotel with very friendly hosts, and a large pool and parking. The harbor is about a 20-minute walk away, which means you’re away from Bardolino’s noise and bustle. After an evening in town, you can still get a drink on the terrace until 11 pm, which isn’t always possible.

For me, the family-run feel and the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff are what make this hotel special. It’s a peaceful, human-scale place on Lake Garda, and I’d recommend it if that’s what you’re after. I’ll definitely come back. I treated myself to three nights over the May 1st long weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is just outside Bardolino, but a lovely walk along the lake gets you to the town center, a little over a kilometer away, or to Lazise in one direction and Garda in the other. Breakfast is included, with a good range of fresh sweet and savory options. Being able to eat beside the fabulous pool, which is open all day, was a real bonus. A special thanks to Michele, who invited me to take photos of the room right away and made sure I liked it. It was basic but well maintained, clean, and had everything I needed.
