La Rocca Camping Village

After our second two-week stay at la rocca, I still can't think of a bad word to say. We found the campsite a couple of years ago while staying next door and fell in love straight away. This year there were new features, including a brand-new play park, and it's clear the management team is investing back into the site. The pools are great, and the animal park is a real asset. We've never stayed anywhere else where you can walk an alpaca through the vineyard. Our daughter Bella loves it here, and Isobel is her favourite "teacher." The staff are amazing, and they remembered us from last year. The animation team deserves a big pat on the back for working so many hours, jumping around and still smiling. We love the evening entertainment and often hurry back so we don't miss it. The location works perfectly for us too: we cycle out most days, skate on the boardwalk, and walk to neighbouring towns. We can't wait to return, even though a year feels a long way off. Thanks to everyone at la rocca. It's our family's favourite campsite, and we travel a lot. Huge thumbs up to the whole team. We towed a caravan, so I can't comment on the rooms, though I'm guessing they're great.

The location is good and the pitches are okay, but our family has been coming here since the 90s and we won't return. The rates are too high for the overall quality. We also had to deal with an arrogant man at reception. We saw him being rude to customers ahead of us, then he made the same unnecessary sarcastic comments to us. He shouldn't be in a customer-facing role.

We first visited in 2013 and thought it was amazing. We came back in 2025 and found it even better. The restaurant is lovely, with good food and great service, and reception was friendly. The campsite is right on the lake. Tent and caravan pitches are nicely divided and shaded by trees. The washrooms for showering and washing are great and kept clean constantly, and the staff are very friendly. There are lots of activities for children and adults, and the dog shower and dryer are perfect after a swim in the lake. The van service area is great too. The only issue is that many people don't read the signs and use the wrong hose to empty or fill the chemical toilet. That's down to people, not the campsite 😅. Amazing place!

A really lovely place for adults and kids alike. The pool areas are very good, and drinks at the pool bar are great and reasonably priced. It's close to the lake, where there's a bridge you can jump and dive from. Garda, with its restaurants and shops, is a 10-15 minute walk away.
