Villa Sergio

The view over Bardolino and Lake Garda is fantastic, and Villa Sergio is a very nice property. We stayed for a week as a couple. The owner and his family are friendly and helpful, and there are two apartments on the ground floor. The owner and his family of six live upstairs and in the rear building. There's an underground garage for cars or motorcycles, and the old town is about a ten-minute walk away. We hardly heard any traffic. The kitchen has the basics you need, though the equipment feels a bit mismatched. The bathroom is functional and even has a bidet. The bedroom's simple metal bed frame and not-so-great mattress weren't the best, and the IKEA sofa in the living room can be converted into two extra sleeping spaces. Air conditioning costs an additional €5 per day, and the pool is for everyone to use. The basic furnishings, poor mattress, and noisy neighbors, both in the house and nearby, especially on weekends, are why I'm taking off one star.
