Villagioia

Really top stay!

We spent a week at Villa Gioia in Bardolino with 6 adults and 5 children, and had a wonderful, comfortable stay. The hosts greeted us with Italian treats and were very friendly. The fenced, overgrown garden was great for the little ones. It has a jacuzzi, sun loungers, deck chairs, an outdoor shower, and a large table with seating for 10. We spent plenty of time outside, and the pool is just a few meters from the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed and much more. There were even a few drinks in the fridge, and the tap had a sparkling water system, which was a real highlight. The ground floor also has the living room and dining table. Upstairs, there’s a single room, a twin room, a double room with a balcony and stunning lake view, and a bathroom. The second floor has another room with two pull-out sofa beds and a toilet. Downstairs in the basement, there’s a double bedroom with a bathroom, plus a washing machine, dryer, bicycles, and a foosball table. We had a fantastic time and can wholeheartedly give it 5 stars.

The birthday decorations, cake, and welcome buffet were such a lovely surprise. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. This holiday home is beautifully and luxuriously furnished, with enough bedrooms, bathrooms, towels, and even bathrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking, and the large terrace with pergola was perfect for meals outside. It’s ideal for a big multigenerational family. The town center is a 10-minute walk away, while the home itself is away from the bustle. There are plenty of loungers and chairs in the garden, plus a private jacuzzi and a fantastic shared pool in the complex.

A lovely table was set for us when we arrived. The villa was spotless and had everything we could want, with its own jacuzzi and access to the public pool. I’d recommend it 100%.
