The owner was kind and always around if we needed anything. Our room was spacious and had everything we wanted, including a TV, fridge, and air conditioning.

The host was so friendly and helpful. We had a cozy, spotless, spacious room right in the city center, and parking was available. Highly recommend it.

My family and I arrived around 5:15 PM for a stay I’d booked through Booking.com. I’d called the owner at about 1:00 PM to arrange our arrival, and he’d checked the paper reservation and agreed with me on a time around 5:30. But when we rang the bell, nobody answered. I called him, and he said there’d been a mix-up and the room was already occupied. He told us to find somewhere else, even though it was mid-August and places were full. I said he needed to find us a place and that I’d contact Booking. He eventually found a farmhouse with a room free because of a cancellation, then told Booking the room we’d booked wasn’t available because its bathroom was broken. The farmhouse owner called to confirm the room, but it was in a town 10 km from where we’d booked and cost much more than our reservation at this pseudo-B&B. With no real choice, and two children worn out from the trip and a day at the beach, I accepted. I tried calling the B&B owner again, but his phone was disconnected. I haven’t heard from him since, and I’m still waiting for an apology. My daughter started reading the B&B reviews, which I wish I’d checked before booking. Apparently this isn’t the first time the owner has played similar games. I can’t understand how the property is still on the Booking platform. Booking’s customer service was disappointing too, as they did virtually nothing to help us. Stay away from this pseudo-B&B in Bari Sardo. It was a nightmare.

The room is large and has air conditioning, but the shower is old and the cleaning wasn’t good. Around 3 in the morning, there was an awful racket as someone started dragging furniture around.
