The staff were super friendly, spoke German, English, and Italian, and were very accommodating. The beach is right there, though it’s steep, so there aren’t too many little kids. The washing areas are clean, there’s a nice little restaurant and a bar on site, and the camper pitches are pretty great. It’s a great base for motorbike riders, too, with some of the island’s best roads nearby, including SS125. We extended our stay three times because we liked it so much.

We stayed five nights at Camping Marina in early June 2025, arriving by car without a tent or camper van. It’s a charming little campsite that feels like a community, with a compact layout and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere shaped by guests and staff. The beach is just steps away, there’s a lovely pine forest for shade, and Sard Bar is a fantastic beach bar nearby. The outdoor kitchen in our mobile home was well equipped and pleasant to use. The home itself was cramped and stuffy at first, almost moldy, though we got used to it. We especially liked the small restaurant. The menu is limited, but portions are generous and delicious. We made friends easily and ended up sharing meals and drinks with other families. The good points were the immediate beach access, sociable vibe, helpful staff, and restaurant. The downsides were the cramped, stuffy mobile home, prices on the high side, and a market with little beyond the basics, with many shelves literally empty. You might want to negotiate on price. This probably isn’t the place for anyone who needs a lot of privacy.

The staff are extremely friendly. The toilets are outdated, but always clean, and there’s plenty of hot water. They have the basics covered with a small shop and a buffet serving excellent coffee and croissants. Deserves five stars.

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. This is a laid-back, small campsite right on a beautiful sandy beach, with lava rocks on one side and the iconic torre de bari on the other. It’s one of the last hidden gems in Sardinia, and there are very few campgrounds where you can camp literally 5m from the beach. Great for paddling, swimming, and snorkeling. The water gets deep quickly, so it may be less suitable for small kids. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a week in a tent and will definitely return. It was a superb experience, and I rarely give five stars, but this camp exceeded our expectations. The beach is close, clean, quiet, and huge, with small sand pebbles that I prefer to the kind of sand where the light doesn’t shine. The campsite is medium to small, with a market, a bar, and a restaurant. The menu is simple, but the food tastes great. The staff are polite and keen to help with all sorts of things, like finding the right butcher, buying local cheese, or helping with rent. There’s only one service facility, but it’s very clean and, I think, cleaned three times a day. Sard Rock caffe is nearby right on the beach, where you can party until dawn. The camp makes a great base for hiking, trips by sea, outings south inland or north, and visits to the interesting little villages nearby. You do have to consider the bugs, including mosquitoes and other insects, but that comes with camping and seems normal to me.
