2b Home - Bari Centro

We were happy with our two-night stay in the studio. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Bari Centrale station is five minutes away, and there are a couple of markets just as close. We recommend it!

The train was barely audible, so the soundproofing was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful when we contacted them by phone or through the booking app. There were several things that needed attention in the apartment. The floor and the bottom of the toilet were dirty, as if nobody had done a final check. The bathroom bin had no liner, and the dispensers were empty. Since guests get samples, it might be better to remove the dispensers. Most annoying was the bed, which had no support and sagged into the middle. You sink down and have to ask for help getting up. It needs a fix or replacement. One small request: two bottles of water in the apartment would be appreciated, especially for a late arrival.

After surgery, I badly needed a more comfortable and convenient place, but got the opposite. I booked this B&B for March 16-23 with high expectations. As soon as I arrived, seeing the condition of the shower stall made those expectations fade. The wall around it was completely worn and unsanitary, even for taking a simple shower. The bed was uncomfortable too, with springs that made it impossible to sleep comfortably. I reported the problems to the appropriate authorities, but was told I wouldn’t get a refund for the inconveniences and that we could leave if we didn’t like the stay. So I had to find another B&B at the last minute. I had no intention of spending another hour there.

Getting around was easy: parking is right downstairs, the station is very close, and the historic center and shopping area are walkable. The apartment was spotless, newly furnished, and had every comfort. We received a wonderful welcome, and the recent renovation is clear. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!
