The owner made us a lovely Italian breakfast each morning, and on our first day there was delicious focaccia too. The place was clean and spacious, with beach umbrellas and other things available to borrow. Its location worked really well for us, between Pane e pomodoro beach, the main railway station, and the historic centre. I’d gladly recommend it.

The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities we could think of, including air conditioning. The seaside Promenade was about a two-minute walk away, the beach around ten minutes, and the city centre roughly twenty. Most of all, the host was so warm, kind, and helpful that we felt completely at home. Easily my best B&B stay, an 11/10 experience. Grazie mille Antonella!

We felt very well looked after, and the place was cleaned daily. Izabela was helpful with breakfast, bringing us sweets or focaccia, and once some cold cuts. There were juices, coffee, an espresso machine, and a kettle, so making our own food was easy too. The ground-floor apartment is roomy and well equipped, with two bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a living room, and a bathroom. Entry is by code. Madonella is a quiet, well-kept neighborhood, and the apartment is just a block from the sea. Even though the street is busy, it stays fairly quiet inside. There’s a cafe, a small church, and the very good Al Cantuccio 2 restaurant/pizzeria right nearby. The walk along the seafront to old Bari, including the Margarita Theater and Ferrarese Square, takes a pleasant 15 minutes. Marconi station, with trains to Poligniano and Monopoli, is exactly ten minutes away; Bari Centrale takes about 20-25 minutes on foot.
