The old town is right outside, which made the location a real highlight. The apartment is compact and neat, with the character of a historic place. Just be aware that the stairs are steep and there’s no lift, so that could be difficult if you have mobility needs. It’s cozy, though not suited to anyone looking for big, luxurious rooms.

The air conditioning barely cooled the room, and that made for a hot, humid night when we couldn’t get proper sleep or rest. We only stayed one night, mainly to sleep before having coffee in the morning. The location is very good for exploring the historic center.

The heater didn’t really keep up with the cold February nights and mornings. Still, it’s a pretty, classic seaside home in the old town, and the food was great. There isn’t much room, so keep that in mind. My Italian isn’t very good, which made communication less than perfect, but the place had real charm.

The roof terrace was such a nice place to relax, and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. It’s also in a very good location, whether you’re staying for a couple of days or longer. The host and her father-in-law were both so lovely.

We had no trouble checking in around midnight, and the owner had made us a great breakfast. She’s a lovely woman, and the place is right in the middle of Bari’s old town.
