We were comfortable in the spacious apartment, even though we stayed only one night. It had two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small kitchen area. Getting there from the train station was easy, and it’s close to both the old town and the pedestrian area. The self check-in was straightforward with the details sent ahead on WhatsApp. The awkward bit was the fifth-floor apartment: the elevator only goes to the fourth, so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. Maybe that was temporary, but it’s uncomfortable if you have a lot of luggage.

CAUTION: Two days before check-in, the owner messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to cancel the Booking.com reservation without contacting Booking.com through the app. If I’d cancelled myself, I might have lost some of the money I’d already paid. Booking.com knew nothing about it when I called. The owner only confirmed in the app that the room wouldn’t be available after Booking.com got in touch. The day before this happened, the owner had said the room was fine. The explanation was a plumbing problem in the bathroom. If that was true, there were two days to fix it. CAUTION.

We stayed in apartment number 4 and really liked it. It had what we needed for a relaxing visit, with plenty of water and coffee capsules. They also gave us a slightly later checkout for free when we asked. The main street is nearby, and the train station is about 10-15 minutes away.

The apartment was spacious, brand new, and really clean. The location is excellent, right in the center. In the evening, street parking is easy to find, and there are secure parking spots too. I’ll definitely come back. Congratulations!

Right in the heart of Bari, this cozy AirBNB apartment is close to the old town and train station. There are two bedrooms and a living room with a kitchen, so it works well for two families. The bedrooms have air conditioning, though the living room doesn’t, which is the downside.
