We slept really well here. The beds were comfy, the interior had everything we needed, and even though Nitto House is about 70 meters from busy via Francesco Crispi, the road noise faded enough for a good night’s rest. Our host, Domenico, was kind and welcoming, gave us useful directions, and quickly brought an extra blanket when we asked. There are supermarkets, cafes, pizzerias, and bus and metro/train stations nearby, plus an outdoor area beneath Ponte Adriatico about 270 meters away, a four-minute walk, if you want to stay active. Bari Vecchia takes a pleasant 30-minute walk to reach, so the main tourist area isn’t especially close. The streets around the building weren’t very clean, and I didn’t like seeing dog mess left behind by owners. That isn’t the property’s fault, and my own home city has the same problem, maybe worse. Bari is still a fabulous city that stays with you. It’s not perfect, but I’d visit again any time.

We had a great stay otherwise. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything a couple could need, with the main sights around a 15-20 minute walk away. But when we opened the window for just five minutes to get some air, mosquitoes came in and bit us through the night. A mosquito screen would really help.

Late evening check-in was possible, which was a big help, and communication was great. The room was comfortable and suited our needs. Staff also brought fresh towels, which we hadn’t expected but appreciated. Thanks!

It’s a newly renovated, decent place, and the city center is about a 20-minute walk away. But there was hair in the shower drain and obvious limescale marks on the glass. Yuck. They really need to pay more attention to cleaning.

Before we arrived, we got detailed, useful instructions, including which bus to take from the airport and how to get into the room. That made everything convenient and helped make the vacation calm and relaxing. The room was clean and nice, with air conditioning and a fridge, and the place was quiet and not too far from the city center. I can only recommend it.
