Imbriani Guest House & Suites

Loved staying here. The rooms are stylish and clean, and the location is great: just 2 minutes on foot to the beach, 10 minutes to the train station, and about 15 minutes to the old town. Highly recommend!

The check-in was difficult. It isn’t a hotel, just 3 rooms with no reception, and tablets with codes to get in. The room was very dark, and the shower was in the bedroom with no separate room. For 2 people staying 3 nights, there were only 2 samples of shower gel, and the hand dispenser had no soap. The room was clean, but the service needs to be better. Nice location, about 20min on foot from the beach and 15min from barri vecchia.

The rooms were clean, and the location was really good.

We booked three rooms for four people for a short stay in Bari, and were glad it was only one night. The entry codes had been sent by text, but they were no use until someone opened the front door. After several tries, an elderly woman let us in. The woman, who wasn't at reception, later told us by phone to run the portable radiators in shifts because turning them on together tripped the breaker. The rooms were cold, and the air conditioning didn't work. How was everyone supposed to shower? There was hot water in just one room, and the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The room was dirty, with a visibly grimy, unhygienic linoleum floor. The shower was covered in limescale and rust, and we took photos. There was a coffee machine but no pods or capsules, and no breakfast. The price was far too high for a place that doesn't meet basic hotel standards. We trusted the earlier reviews when we booked, and regret it. Never again.
