Kaktus Guest House

There are three rooms and a shared lobby/kitchen. The central spot makes getting around really easy, with coffee shops nearby. It can feel a little sketchy after dark, though.

The staff were so warm and friendly, and breakfast was included. I liked having the choice of eating in my room or at a café around the corner. The cappuccino and sweet croissants there were great; in the room, breakfast was a generous spread of bread, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, Nutella and jam. I spent a week at Kaktus B&B, working and exploring, and it made a great base. The balcony had a beautiful view and was a dream place to work. Everything central was about a 10-minute walk, and the beach was 10 minutes away by bus. My room was spacious, modern, and incredibly clean, with regular cleaning to a high standard. It also had air conditioning. A wonderful stay, thank you!

Just be aware that noise carries in the apartment building. You can hear everything when other guests are in the kitchen, which may be tough if you're a light sleeper and they get up early. Earplugs might help. Otherwise, we were very happy. The room was spacious and clean, and the owners welcomed us kindly and showed us around. The B&B is handy for day trips, with the train station and the historic center both a short walk away.

Sara was so welcoming, always smiling, and even offered us tasty snacks: cheese and ham on soft, fresh bread, plus a jam tart. The room was spotless and had big, soft white towels. We were also close to both the station and the old town. We were delighted with our stay at Kaktus. Thank you, Sara.
