Melo 48

We messaged Antonella at 19:30 on the night we wanted to book, and she still had a room available and was very helpful. Check-in was self-service, with clear instructions. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with probably the best bed we had in three weeks in Italy. The price was very good too, especially for such a central location. There was some construction noise in the building in the morning. It wasn’t Antonella’s fault, and it wasn’t much of an issue for us, but she still offered a free Italian breakfast and late check-out to make it up to us. Great host, room, and location. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in Bari. Thanks for everything, Antonella.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy, with clear instructions sent the day before. There’s an elevator too, so no need to tackle steep stairs. The location is convenient, just a few blocks from the old town. This was the best room of our week in Puglia. It was newer, more spacious than it looked in the website photos, comfortable, and clean. Better than a hotel room. We were surprised to find two extra pillows, tissues, toothbrush sets, and slippers, and the water pressure was good. We’d definitely stay again when we return, 200% recommended! These photos were taken just before check-out, so it looks a little messy... hahaha.

From here, it’s easy to enjoy Bari and head out to see other Puglian gems. The historical center is close, and Bari Centrale station is also within walking distance, about 15 minutes away.

We arrived two days ago and were amazed by how spacious, well maintained, and organized the place was. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom all felt modern and new. A great, comfortable place to stay on vacation, and I’d recommend it to anyone.
