Palazzo Ietri Corso Vittorio Emanuele ROOMS

I couldn't leave a review on booking, but I still want to say how much we loved this place. The host was incredibly helpful, graze Davide! The house is spacious, old but renovated, with gorgeous antique furniture. Its windows keep out the street noise, and it's right in the heart of Bari, beside the Old Town but just outside it, so a taxi can drop you at the door. Best place we stayed in Italy. I really recommend it.

The old town is just a stone's throw away, and the place itself has huge rooms with high ceilings and two staircases leading up from a gated entrance off the road. You can always book another hotel or B&B, but staying in a Palazzo is a special experience, so go for it. A day in Bari wasn't enough for us. It's a city to wander, talk, eat, drink, and lose yourself in.

The host is wonderful, and the location is ideal for seeing both old and new Bari. It's a beautifully renovated, two-room flat in an old Italian plazzo, and a remarkable place to stay. Don't miss it.

We really appreciated being able to leave our bags for a few hours before check-in or after checking out, so we could keep exploring without carrying them. The host also left coffee, water, and juice, thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. The room was spotless, far more spacious than we'd expected, and had everything we needed. Its position right at the entrance to Bari Vecchia made it easy to explore the historic center, waterfront, and main sights on foot.
