We left feeling this stay wasn’t worth the price. Loud trains kept passing nearby, and parties with loud music from people who weren’t hotel guests went on until 1 a.m. There was no TV in the rooms, and breakfast was only a croissant with jam. The place felt more like a party bar with a pool than a hotel focused on guest comfort. We found bedbugs in the bedding, which is completely unacceptable. Staff communicated very little, didn’t speak English, denied the problem, and offered no apology. They even suggested the bedbugs had arrived with our luggage. When a guest who had spent money at the bar raised a valid concern, staff called them “crazy.” Issues were escalated instead of being handled calmly, and there was little regard for guests’ needs. At night, we asked for a taxi to the airport but got no reply or confirmation, so we had to book an Uber ourselves.

The restaurant was good and the staff were nice. The accommodation, though, felt like rooms attached to a restaurant rather than a hotel. If I were rating the stay alone, I’d give it one star. Parking is on the street, and it wasn’t easy to find a space in the evening. Trains passed very loudly right beside the hotel. On weekends there were parties every night until 1 a.m., followed by cleaning until 2. You also have to pay for a sunbed by the pool, and if people from the city have booked them, you can’t stay by the pool. The room floor, bathtub, windows, and mirror weren’t clean.

The hostess helped us when our daughter wasn’t feeling well, and we appreciated that, along with the breakfast croissants. Even so, we left feeling neglected, and this was a sad end to our holiday in Puglia. The room was very basic and wasn’t maintained during our three-day stay. Breakfast was a quick juice, coffee, and croissant, with no cutlery, protein, yoghurt, fresh bread, or anything else to start a tourist’s day. It wasn’t served until 9 a.m. We’d been woken at 6 by trains passing just three metres away, so that meant waiting three hours. Nighttime parties with loud music and people drinking until 1 a.m. made sleep harder too. The shower gave only a thin trickle of water. We can’t recommend this place to families with kids. Locals also used the pool area, where children ran, jumped, and shouted in the water, and some ate and spat in the pool. Neither their parents nor the staff stepped in. We were extremely disappointed that nobody had warned us about the disruptive noise. Apart from the hostess and a man from Ghana who worked there, we didn’t experience hospitality from the staff.

The food was high quality and incredibly delicious. My two-year-old daughter even devoured the meatballs with raw vegetable gazpacho and the squid ink pasta. The staff looked after us so well and took care of every little detail, with spot-on advice on where to choose. This place really knows hospitality. We’ll be back very soon ❤️
