Domenico picked us up from Bari airport, and right away we felt we’d enjoy staying at "VILLA ADRIATIC". It’s a new bed and breakfast about five minutes from Barletta’s beautiful beaches. Barletta itself is a lively, thriving historic city in Puglia, with a thousand-year-old old town and magnificent architecture. "THE ADRIATIC" offers clean, modern accommodation at very affordable prices. Breakfast has plenty of variety, including cereals, fruit juices, cornetti, ham and cheese, and apricot tart. Domenico is always around to make fresh tea or coffee, and he’s genuinely interested in hearing how your previous day went and what you’re planning. The B&B is also just two minutes from Barletta’s biggest supermarket, "IPERCOOP", where you can buy just about anything. A thoroughly great base for visiting Barletta and the surrounding areas.
