If you get the chance to eat at Viviana's restaurant, go for it. Her cooking is amazing. And make time to talk with Angelo, he’s a lovely guy with tons of knowledge, and his wines are amazing too. The whole place gets the mix of luxury and old world just right. Great wine, hospitality, location, and price. We’ll be back next time we’re in Barolo.

Germano and his family made us feel so well cared for on our honeymoon. We also had an incredible lunch tasting of wine and food onsite. The wines were fantastic, and the location in Barolo was perfect. My wife and I would absolutely stay here again, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Barolo.

The breakfast was complimentary, with a wide selection of local meats, cheeses, and pastries. Our host was extremely friendly and took us through a tasting of his family's vineyard and winery. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a charming mix of older style and newer amenities. We thought the B&B was absolutely perfect and look forward to coming back!

Angelo, the patriarch of the house and Davide's father, was the standout for us. He was incredibly helpful and patient while I struggled through Italian, and his English and French are good too. He even lent me his guitar so I could play a little on vacation. Davide and Valentina, who I first contacted, were very helpful as well. We had a fabulous time in Barolo and the area, and Casa Svizzera was a big part of that. Our room was spacious and tastefully done, clean and great. It’s right in the middle of Barolo and has private parking, which is a huge benefit since parking anywhere in the Langhe is challenging. They have an enoteca at the agriturismo featuring their own wines, Germano, and they were terrific and very reasonably priced. I don’t know why this place is listed as 2 stars when it clearly deserves more. We just left yesterday, and my usually unemotional wife was grief stricken. Casa Svizzera and Angelo, thank you. This is the only place we’ll stay next time we’re in Barolo/Langhe.
