The apartment is simple, roomy, and practical, with a garden and a view that made me reach for my camera on Easter Sunday. The location is superb, and having parking inside the residence removes a lot of hassle. I’ve come back after three years, which says plenty.

We stayed in apartment 6, “Giglio Rosso,” at the “Orto di Venanzio” from October 10th to 12th, just my husband, our two girls, and me. Two nights felt far too short. The lake is only a few minutes away by car, and the apartment is spacious, clean, and nicely furnished in a warm rustic style. The heating worked well, and the little terrace has a mountain view that really stays with you. Michele was kind, understanding, and full of helpful information. His empathy and kindness meant a lot to me. Patrizia welcomed us and patiently explained how everything in the apartment worked, and was ready to answer questions or help with any issues. The place felt warm and peaceful from the moment we arrived. We missed it after leaving and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended.

The furnishings are good quality, and the place was very comfortable and clean. Service was punctual. Getting there is easy, and parking is available on site.

We had a lovely week in the lake view apartment. There’s plenty of space and everything we needed: a bedroom, a large bathroom with a shower, and a living room with a kitchenette and sofa bed. The double garden and the many well-kept flowers were lovely, and the lake view is priceless. The apartment is in Barrea, a village with a castle and breathtaking scenery. I’d recommend a holiday here.

The house was warm, clean, and had everything we needed. The one problem was the welcome from Patrizia, who was really, really rude.
