Hotel Villa Lovi

Vila Lovi made our visit truly memorable. The team were welcoming and attentive from the minute we arrived, and the customer service was outstanding. The villa has been restored beautifully, keeping its historic character while adding modern comfort. You can see the care and respect for the building's heritage throughout the renovation. A special place, highly recommended!

Villa Lovi is a charming hotel, about a 30-minute walk from the very quaint Bassano center. Our room had high ceilings, nice views, a fridge, and a bathtub. The weather was mild, so although the air conditioning was weak, as others have mentioned, it didn't affect us much. Sleep was a different story. The mattress was extremely thin and lumpy, and the pillows were flat and unacceptably poor quality. My husband, who is in his 30s and can usually sleep anywhere, woke up with neck pain and suffered for several days afterward. It was a terrible start to our holiday. A decent night's sleep is the least a hotel should provide, and Lovi failed on that. We told the staff, who agreed, but apparently the owner has no plans to change anything. Housekeeping wasn't good either: I found several hairs on the sheets, towels, floors, and headboard.

A little gem at the foot of the mountains, with lots of morning sunshine. Great location, chain room, and excellent service.

Parking was easy, and it only took about five minutes by car to reach the city center, which made the Villa really convenient for us. The host was lovely and welcoming, and breakfast was freshly prepared. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the inviting couches around the room and shared spaces. I only wish I’d brought a book to read. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Bassano.
