B&B Il Rifugio

The property was welcoming, and breakfast was generous. Pets are allowed for a small fee. There was dust in some parts of the bathroom when we arrived, and the kitchen doesn't have a freezer.

The owner was always available and remarkably kind, a rare quality these days. The rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean, the bathrooms functional, and breakfast was self-service. This small but efficient property has a timeless feel, with a rustic, welcoming atmosphere surrounded by greenery. It's also close to both the Fiera di Roma and Assisi, just a few kilometers away. Excellent for any occasion, and fully deserving of five stars.

Davide was kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The place itself is spacious, spotless, and beautifully kept, with a great location in the Ospedalicchio area. After 40 years of traveling, I was surprised to find so much for €60 a night: shower gel and intimate wash in the bathroom, three pillow types in the room, and a breakfast table reserved for our room with plenty of food and cold drinks. It feels better than most four-star hotels for a fantastic price. Anyone passing through should stay here.

The owners were warm, smiling, and helpful, and my husband and I had a lovely, peaceful weekend. Though this B&B has just three rooms, it sits conveniently near both Assisi and Perugia. Our room was spotless and had all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was the classic packaged kind, with a little bit of everything.
