The breakfasts each morning were tasty and brought right to our door. We also really appreciated the secure private parking, with a key card for the gates and access to the lobby and our room. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was warm and welcoming, and showed us around his Acetaia. He's one of the few certified producers of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. We tasted some for free and bought bottles aged 12 and 25 years. The B&B is just outside Modena, handy for day trips around the area. A supermarket is two minutes away by car, and the city centre is about 15 minutes away. We spent three lovely days here and will come back to see more towns nearby.

The USB chargers were really handy, and the beds were super comfortable. A nice little B&B.

The fixed check-in time wasn't flexible, and the busy main road right outside made it very noisy. The place is also about 15 minutes by car from Modena, and the cleanliness wasn't up to our standards. We'd pictured a rustic Italian guesthouse surrounded by greenery. For the nightly price, we expected a certain level of quality, so the stay was disappointing. If you're only after very cheap accommodation, though, it could suit you.

I was there for work, and found the B&B spotless and well looked after. The owner was genuinely kind too.
