Baunei is a great mountain village, still close to the sea and with plenty of options. At the hotel, Eva at reception and the rest of the team were so kind and attentive that it really felt like home. The room views were stunning and made everything feel more relaxing. From the moment we walked in, the place seemed fresh, clean, and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with quality ingredients, local cakes, fruit, cereal, protein, and more.

After two weeks of moving from beach to beach, we really enjoyed having a quiet stay here. Baunei was a lovely surprise, since we hadn't expected it to be perched on a mountaintop. We only booked two nights, but the hotel was very clean and well appointed, and breakfast was simple and tasty. We loved the central bar looking out over the town below. You'll need a car to get around, unless you plan to explore on foot for trekking.

Breakfast was lovely, and the hotel has what you need, including showers with great water pressure. It's a charming place at the edge of Baunei, about a 10 minute walk from town.

We were lucky to be in Baunei during a weekend spring festival, with traditional singing and food. The town center is a 10-minute walk downhill. This is a charming, cute hotel with lovely Sardinian decorations, and we loved our upgraded room with its terrace.
