Villa Juniper

We felt very comfortable in the tastefully furnished apartment and its lovely terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is fantastic and in a very quiet spot, just 800 steps from a beach with crystal-clear water.

The beach is only a short walk away, and that’s what earns this place its three stars from me. We’d expected more, and the stay wasn’t relaxing. You can hear every step from the neighboring apartment or the one above. Our apartment faced the shared room and barbecue area. The first time, someone asked if the noise bothered us, and it was fairly quiet then. After that, it seemed to give people permission to have more parties. They were noisily cleaning up at 1:30 a.m., then again at 7:00 a.m. The Wi-Fi was weak and kept dropping out. The bathroom is tiny for four people, and you have to be quite short to sit on the toilet without your knees hitting the tiled shower. The kitchen supplies were a jumble of four different dishes, and there was a Nespresso machine, but no shop here sells the capsules.

We really appreciated how helpful the owner was. He helped us arrange trips, and the place has a lovely garden, barbecue area, terrace, and sun loungers. The beach is close by. I'd recommend it.

For 12 years, I've kept coming back, and people I've sent here have loved it too. Some have returned several times. The apartments are top-notch, the landlords are great, and the service is superb. They're always available and happy to help when needed.
