B&B Antegiano

We arrived tired and dusty after hiking to Lake Pilato, and the place felt like an oasis. Parking and a good breakfast were provided, and we were welcomed with real warmth and attention to detail. That kind of hospitality I've often found in this wonderful land is remarkable. Thank you for being so kind to us. We stayed one night. The owner was very kind, and the peaceful setting was truly beautiful. Our comfortable, well-kept country-style room had parquet floors, Wi-Fi, lovely linens, and all the comforts. Restaurants and villages are close by.

The location is lovely and quiet, with only the sound of leaves moving in the wind. The rustic building is beautifully furnished, and our room and bathroom were both attractive and spotless, with daily cleaning. There’s convenient parking in the gravel courtyard out front. We left reluctant to go and will definitely return. Our attic room on the second floor had a sloping ceiling over the bed, so it may not suit tall people. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom well equipped, and the floors were parquet. The room had air conditioning, but we were fine without it thanks to the mosquito screens. Using it would cost €3 per day. Underfloor heating is available in winter. Breakfast was excellent, with tasty cakes made from local ingredients, often by the owners, plus coffee, milk, and homemade jams. Guests can use a kettle and moka pot in the kitchen to make tea or coffee during the day. The owners were extremely friendly and kind. The place exceeded our expectations.

A car is needed to get around, though the place is well situated a few kilometers from many attractions. The owners are thoughtful, checking what guests like before offering a small selection of drinks and food. You can have breakfast outside too, which I recommend if the weather is good. There’s parking and even a lovely hammock. The owners are kind, sociable, and helpful. Inside is even prettier than outside, decorated like a dollhouse, and very romantic. The whole property is charming, comfortable, peaceful, and well kept among nature. We had a wonderful stay and will return. If they ever add a pool, it would be heaven!
