Alla Torretta B&B

The family gave us excellent service, and we loved staying there. The restaurant was excellent too. We especially loved the pizza and carbonara.

The room is brighter and more spacious than I expected, with a good view and a nice breeze. It’s a pleasant walk from Bellagio. I miss the cute pedestrian path before the road’s two right turns. Can’t wait to explore and take pictures, then try one of their pizzas!

The villa’s original architecture and furniture are fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Outside there’s a pool and a kids’ playground, plus the on-site restaurant has a playroom for children. The staff were hospitable and responsive. We loved the lakefront, the gardens of villa Metzi, and the food everywhere!

The bedroom window had stunning views, and the old, elegant building is well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. There’s a pizzeria downstairs with wonderful wood-fired pizzas, handy for dinner on a night when you don’t want to head out. The location is good. About 50m downhill from the Alla Torretta gate, a pedestrian underpass leads to steps down an old cobbled path, away from the busy road. Wear sturdy shoes. Follow the path to the end and you’ll come out on Via Valassina, just above Villa Giulia.
