Du Lac

Hotel Du Lac was one of the highlights of our Italy trip. The view from our room was spectacular, the place was exceptionally clean, and the location right in front of the ferry was perfect. Sara at reception was phenomenal, and all the staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was perfect too. Arturo, right below the hotel, was another highlight. Grazie mille!

We stayed at Hotel Du Lac on a visit to Bellagio in early November. The weather was cool, and the hotel was very clean. It overlooks the lake beside the ferry pier, and the reception staff were especially friendly. The management arranged cake and drinks at the restaurant for my daughter’s birthday. We also used the SPA, and the rooftop bar had breathtaking lake views. Breakfast was superb, and we had access to luggage storage. We enjoyed a memorable stay and couldn’t have asked for more. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Bellagio. Visitor from Malaysia!

The hotel is ideally located directly opposite Bellagio’s main ferry station. We had spectacular lake and mountain views from our room, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning with the same view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel like family. We loved our stay at Hotel Du Lac and hope to return someday.

Our favorite part was how cared for we felt throughout the four nights. The Leoni family made everything warm and easy, and the spa was a lovely bit of luxury. At Gioia Restaurant on Christmas Day, the Italian and British dishes came with incredible Lake Como views; the roast turkey and homemade panettone were the best we’ve ever tasted. We also loved our first-night dinner outdoors at Arturo’s Bar, named after the hotel’s founder. Eating Italian food outside in the middle of winter felt magical. We enjoyed the stay so much that we’ve already booked to come back in April and see more of Lake Como.
