Easy Welcome Casa Roncati Deluxe

We chose this apartment because it advertised AC, but it wasn’t working. The management company claimed they didn’t know about the problem, even though we found two reviews from a few days before check-in mentioning it. We stayed four nights and tried to contact them when we arrived without success. The next day we asked to check out and get a refund for the remaining nights, but they refused. They refunded less than 20% of the full stay and told us to use a fan during the extreme August heat in Italy. We couldn’t sleep at night because of the heat and then couldn’t function during the day, so the stay was ruined. There were other apartments literally half the price without AC, and we had picked this one specifically for it.

During the worst heat wave in history, Wonderful Italy knowingly lied, misrepresented and falsely advertised the property as having air conditioning. When we called, they said they were "unaware of the problem," but we found several earlier reviews about the same issue. AC isn’t just a luxury for us, it matters because my wife has a heart condition. We tried for hours to reach them, including by phone after they said they’d get back to us, and also emailed. We got no response at all. They completely ghosted us. The worst customer service I’ve had in 50 years of international travel!
