Hotel Mirabeau

Flora and Flavio run the place themselves and do a lovely job. The staff are very sweet and polite, and help with anything you ask. Since this was my first trip to Italy, they gave me the room with the best view after I requested it beforehand. I also enjoyed chatting with them and learning about the culture. The corridors on the floors could use tubelights, and a little more variety for hot breakfasts and dinners would be nice. Still, with that price and my last-minute plan, it was a great deal. Bellagio is very expensive otherwise. I'd love to stay here again if I come back to Bellagio. ;)

The view from the hotel balcony is off the charts, and the food is great. Drinks are very well priced too. The room was somewhat dated, but it was very clean. The atmosphere felt like staying at an Italian auntie's home, because the people here aren't just hoteliers, they're hosts. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay, and I'd return without a second thought. Don't miss the chance to see that view.

The service and kindness were lovely, and oh, the view! The hotel isn't luxurious, but breakfast was good. I only realized later that it also had a pool and garden in a lovely open space. The breakfast area has both enclosed and open terrace seating, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. There is parking, and they were very nice to us even though we arrived quite late at night without a reservation. I totally recommend it.

The pool area, with its bar overlooking the mountains, was a lovely place to relax. We also found it easy to explore from here, with Bellagio, charming chapels, and mountain hikes all a very short distance away. One hike gave us a breathtaking 360° panorama over Lake Como. Flora and Flavio made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care made the hotel feel as comfortable as visiting close family, even with views that felt like a luxury resort. Our spacious, well-appointed room had a beautiful balcony and an unobstructed view of the serene lake. Waking up to it each morning was a dream. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all prepared to our requests. Flora and Flavio even asked what we'd like for dinner and made the dishes we chose, with delicious Italian cooking. With the comfortable room, stunning setting, attentive hospitality, and great meals, we had a perfect retreat by Lake Como. We rate it 10 out of 10 and look forward to returning.
