The room was freezing, like Lapland, and the food was awful: cold, salty, and tasteless. Staff hurried through the courses. We expected some music because the owner had mentioned it, but there wasn't any, and the whole evening felt dull. Dinner was already over around 10:30. I went for the New Year's Eve dinner and regret it. Never again, I strongly don't recommend it.

We had lunch here today, August 14th, in oppressive heat, with no air conditioning. The French windows were left open, so flies, wasps, and the house cat came in, along with the manure smell from the surrounding fields. The dining room was dirty and untidy, and the lone waitress was trying to do the work of three people. The fish was pretty good, but costly given all those inconveniences. We don't recommend it.

My husband and I first tried the restaurant after hearing people praise its quality and good prices. We liked it, and they gave us an excellent price for my daughter's communion meal. But when the day came, what I'd been offered wasn't up to par. The service was terrible, the children's menu and food were awful, and we were charged extra for things we hadn't ordered. Then, while we were there, the owner took a piece of my daughter's cake and ate it in front of us, as if to suggest it was good. The lack of professionalism and care for customers was terrible. To make matters worse, the fish we took home had larvae inside. I strongly advise against this place.

My husband and I loved this place, and it's now on our list of favorite spots in Abruzzo. We had dinner yesterday and everything was perfect: a huge spread of appetizers, each better than the one before, followed by calamarata with lobster and cherry tomato sauce that flowed like water. The room is bright and spacious, with blue and azure details that bring the sea to mind even though you're up in the hills. I don't understand the reviews calling the staff rude or saying the fish is bad. I also read a complaint about the stable smell. In the countryside that seems normal, and you can't smell it inside anyway. If it bothers you, maybe Milan and its concrete would suit you better. There's no stable smell there, though you'd have to take out a mortgage for a dinner like this. It's a matter of choice.
