The garden was neglected, with weeds and abandoned empty pots, and it was full of mosquitoes. Inside, the place was much older and less cared for than the newer-looking photos suggested. The bathroom needs renovating, and the photos leave out the floor, which is badly damaged by shower water. There’s just one hook for hanging a towel. The cleanliness was what upset me most. I had to wash the plates, glasses, and cutlery because they were dirty, and I found lots of hair that clearly wasn’t mine, even in the dishcloths. The photos are misleading. Be careful.
