It's a shame that Spinelli Palace is closed to the public right now. I hope it can open again. The architecture and structure bring back a sense of its former splendor, and the period furnishings and paintings on the old, solid walls are moving to see. You can look around from outside, and it's easy to reach by car with parking available. From there, walk down to the central plaza, a little farther below, and try some of the region's best ice cream.
