The area is lovely, and you can park behind the building, which was useful. The owner was kind and helpful, and the restaurant food was genuinely good. But the prices felt almost unreal compared with nearby places: we paid 118 euros for five spaghetti carbonara, water, and three beers. At lower prices, we would have eaten there every day of our stay. Our room was clean, but the bathroom had no door handle, the sockets didn't work, and plaster was coming off the ceiling. The rooms generally need a thorough renovation and new furniture. Breakfast was included, yet every day it was only croissants and coffee or tea. None of the employees or owners spoke a language other than Italian during our stay. For this kind of business, I think they should know at least some basic English. The two stars are only because the owner was nice and helpful.

The food was delicious and always fresh, with good wine and great service. I had the chance to meet the owner Mirella, whose wonderful, cheerful personality really adds to the atmosphere.

I was staying at another nearby hotel and came here for dinner, so I can only speak to the restaurant. It was good, with a nice selection of fish and meat dishes.

The rooms are clean and inexpensive, and the staff are really friendly and helpful, though they speak little English. The restaurant food is very nice but can be a bit pricey. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, and the location is okay, although there isn't much to do right nearby.
